Landing Promotion Conference of SONGUO Eastern Europe Assembly Plant held in Beijing
On January 15th, the Landing Promotion Conference of SONGUO Eastern Europe Assembly Plant held in Beijing.
Yang Hongtao, the deputy secretary of the CPC Dezhou Municipal Committee and mayor, met with the Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister MARIYANA NIKOLOVA and the delegation who attended the promotion meeting. The two sides communicated on the related issues of the landing of the Songuo Assembly Plant in Eastern Europe.
Mayor Yang Hongtao said that Songuo Motors has gathered many advanced technologies that are being developed in the field of new energy vehicles to achieve industrial innovation of new materials, new technologies and new processes. The cooperation between the two parties will actively promote the development of the local economy.
From December 8th to 12th, 2019, a delegation of Songuo Motors visited Bulgaria and signed a memorandum of incorporation of the Eastern European Automotive Assembly Plant with HADID Group, the largest Italian steel company, and the Bulgarian National Investment Bureau. According to the agreement, Songuo and its partners will jointly invest 200 million euros in Bulgaria to build a assembly plant for electric vehicles.
The purpose of this promotion meeting is to promote the implementation of Songuo Assembly Plant in Eastern European and the progress of the international market, and to cooperate with the completion of the first phase of equipment installation and commissioning and the start of trial production of the main plant in Dezhou High-tech Zone.
Deputy Prime Minister MARIYANA NIKOLOVA said that Bulgaria and China have always maintained a good cooperative relationship, and will also provide preferential and convenient conditions for Chinese investment enterprises in various aspects and create a good business environment. The cooperation in the field of new energy vehicles will help the two parties to gain a leading edge in the competition of the new energy vehicle market, accelerate the complementary advantages and promotion of the new energy vehicle industry in Eastern Europe, and look forward to the early mass production of the Songuo Plant in Eastern Europe.
Zhou Haiyan, chairman of Songuo Motors, discussed the progress of Songuo Plant in Eastern Europe with Vice Premier MARIYANA NIKOLOVA, and the both sides reached a consensus on the subsequent progress.
Bulgaria is one of the "Belt and Road" node countries. The Economic, Trade, and Science and Technology Cooperation Committee is set up between the Chinese and Bulgarian governments. The excellent business environment and strong government support are the strong support for the establishment of the Songuo Plant in Eastern Europe. The completion of the project will quicken the steps of Songuo on the international market, achieve the principle of gaining revenue in Dezhou, the export of technology, brands and products to the world, and further promote the depth of Dezhou participation in the country's "Belt and Road" strategy.
