From July 29th to 31st, the delegation of the SONGUO Motors Business Delegation was invited to visit Indonesia, an important member country of the “Belt and Road”, and was assisted by the Indonesian Minister of Coordinating Ministry for political, legal affairs, Department of home affairs, Department of foreign affairs, and Mr. LUHUT BINSAR PANDJAITAN, Coordinating Minister of Maritime Coordination Department, Ministry of Transportation, Energy and Mineral Resources, held a warm and pragmatic meeting.
Indonesia is the world's largest archipelagic country with a territory spanning Asia and Oceania with a population of nearly 262 million (2019), after China, India and the United States, the fourth most populous country in the world. Indonesia is one of the founding countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the largest economy in Southeast Asia and a member of the G20.
The two sides conducted in-depth communication on transportation, energy and electric vehicles, especially electric motorcycles, tricycles, mini-cars and SKD factories, as well as Indonesia's industrial policies, market conditions and all aspects related to SONGUO New Energy Vehicles.
During the three-day trip, the delegation also held business meetings with officials such as the Indonesian National Maritime Commission, the Natural Resources and Services Coordination Department, and several state-owned enterprises including PERUMNAS and the highest credit rating of global financial institution J.P. Morgan.
