To commemorate the 30th anniversary of ASEAN-ROK dialogue relations, the ASEAN-ROK Commemorative Summit was held in Busan from November 25 to 26. Moon Jae-in, President of ROK, and leaders and senior officials of 10 ASEAN countries attended the meeting. According to Korean media, it will be the biggest international conference the ROK hosts under the Moon Jae-in administration.
As a representative of Korean electric vehicles, SONGUO Korea are invited to bring products to participate in the event and provide driving services.
According to official data of Korea, ASEAN is already the second-largest trade target of ROK. At present, the bilateral trade volume has reached $ 160 billion dollars. During the summit, Korea and several ASEAN countries conducted bilateral free trade agreement negotiations. The Korea side stated that the annual ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund will increase to $ 14 million dollars from this year.
During the summit, ROK hosted exhibitions on smart city and smart farm and promoted technologies such as the Internet of Things and electric vehicles.
